This last weekend was Sarah's sister, Caitlin's wedding. She and I caught a flight on Friday morning to Atlanta where her college friend Angela and her boyfriend Ben picked us up. From there we made the 2.5 hour drive to Montgomery, AL for the wedding rehersal.
This wedding was basically an Auburn University reunion because Sarah, Caitlin, Knox, and all of their friends are all alumni. The rehersal went off without a hitch and we headed to the local marriott for great dinner and some drinks. Of course, it was a Friday night, and all the old folk headed off to bed around 10pm, so us youngin's headed out to the Blue Iguana in Montgomery for some dancing.
After the open bar at the rehersal dinner, and cheap beer at the blue iguana, a great time was had by all, although my head was not pleased with me on Saturday morning.
Since Sarah had hair appointments and pictures all day, I stayed in bed, slept in, and watched some Euro 2008 soccer games on ESPN (GO GERMANY!)
The wedding was short and sweet and the reception was great. Knox had one of the coolest Groom's Cake I've ever seen. It was the Auburn mascot, Aubie, all dressed up in a tuxedo. Freakin' cool.
Anyways, it was great to see her family again, meet a bunch of new ones and party with Sarah's kin.
